Kitchen and Bath Remodel in Dallas, TX for Benny B

This 1960’s home featured an original, tiny, dated kitchen with few amenities and that 50’s drab-looking tiles, a tub, and small vanity in its master bath. In the kitchen, we removed the entire wall between the den and the kitchen & nook to give a more open plan effect. To widen the kitchen, we reconstructed the wall adjoining the garage and old laundry room. The new kitchen is just stunning and features a new island with seating, gray and white Shaker cabinets by J&K, and crisp white custom quartz counters. Note the fantastic ceiling recessed LED lighting (“distributed lighting”) on dimmers. The new flooring is 12×24 porcelain tile with 1/16” grout lines. The new stacked washer and dryer are situated in the far-left tall matching cabinets, which looks like a pantry!

In the bathroom, we designed and created a proper walk-in shower with no door. It features a body shower system with a rain shower head, flexible hand shower, and 8x pulse body jets with a temperature display! The frameless (floor-to-ceiling) glass really makes it phenomenal. A unique gray/blue glazed tile was installed vertically along the entire main wall and into the shower. Hex porcelain mosaic tile completes the flooring and shower base. The toilet is an incredible European style, with the bowl mounted on the wall, with the cistern installed in the wall space. The large chrome push button panel is the dual flush controller. We installed a small floating vanity and recessed medicine cabinet with a mirror to complete this contemporary bathroom. What an incredible transformation! Thx G
