The Transformation Process
Initial Consultation and Design
We began by listening to our client’s vision and understanding their specific needs and preferences. Our design team collaborated closely with them to develop a comprehensive plan that would maximize the available space and incorporate modern design elements. We provided detailed 3D renderings to help our client visualize the final outcome and ensure that every detail was tailored to their taste.
Demolition and Preparation
The first step in the renovation process was to completely gut the old master bathroom and the adjacent closet. This allowed us to start with a blank slate and create a spacious new layout that would accommodate the desired features. Installation
- Walk-In Shower: The centerpiece of the new master suite is an amazing walk-in shower, featuring a “zero threshold” design with a long linear drain on the back wall. This design not only provides a sleek, modern look but also enhances accessibility. The shower glass extends from floor to ceiling, with a 24″ opening for the entrance, creating a spacious and open feel.
- Tile Work: The entire shower is adorned with large 2′ x 4′ tiles, providing a contemporary and cohesive look. These tiles are not only visually stunning but also easy to clean and maintain.
- Shower Controls: One of the innovative features of this remodel is the placement of the shower controls by the window. This allows the owner to turn on the water and adjust the temperature without getting wet, enhancing convenience and comfort.
- Shower Heads: The shower is equipped with a large rainshower head and a flexible handshower, both from Kohler. These high-quality fixtures provide a luxurious showering experience and add to the overall elegance of the space.
- Lighting: We installed ample LED lighting throughout the master suite, making the space feel bright and inviting. The strategic placement of lights highlights the room’s features and enhances its spaciousness.
- Vanity and Storage: The new master suite also includes a modern vanity with plenty of storage space, ensuring that the bathroom is both beautiful and functional. The clean lines and high-quality materials of the vanity complement the overall design.
Walk-In Closet
In addition to the master bathroom, we built a brand-new, very large walk-in closet. This addition provides ample storage space and enhances the functionality of the master suite, making it a truly luxurious retreat.
