We absolutely loved working on this large kitchen remodel! The original kitchen featured outdated oak cabinets and a layout that felt cramped and inefficient. Despite having plenty of cabinets, the space seemed small and uninviting. Our challenge was to transform this dated kitchen into a modern, open, and functional space that our clients could enjoy.
Removing Walls and Expanding Space
One of the key changes we made was removing a wall section to create more space for the new island. The old layout included a peninsula and a small island that restricted movement and limited the usable workspace. By removing these elements, we were able to design a large, inviting island with ample seating, making the kitchen a perfect place for both meal preparation and social gatherings.
Elegant and Functional Design Elements
The new quartz countertops added an element of elegance and provided a clean, spacious environment for cooking and entertaining. A notable feature of the remodel is the wall of 12” deep cabinets, which serve as a massive pantry, offering abundant storage space while keeping the kitchen organized and clutter-free.
Italian Marble Backsplash and LED Lighting
To enhance the aesthetic appeal of the kitchen, we installed a stunning 4×8 Italian marble backsplash. This choice not only added a touch of luxury but also complemented the overall design beautifully. We also incorporated new LED under-cabinet lighting, which brightened the workspace and highlighted the intricate details of the backsplash and countertops.

One of the major upgrades was replacing all the flooring with wood-look porcelain tile. This type of flooring is not only visually appealing but also highly durable, making it ideal for homes with pets and high-traffic areas.
