New Floors and More
This project involved a comprehensive overhaul, starting with opening up walls to create a more open and inviting space. New hardwood floors were laid, elevating the aesthetics and comfort of the entire area. A standout feature of this remodel was the specially fabricated and stained custom cabinets. These cabinets were more than just storage; they were pieces of functional art, adding character and warmth to the space.
A New, Open Kitchen
The fireplace and parquet flooring received a modern facelift, breathing new life into these central elements of the home. The built-ins and pass-through were opened up into the kitchen space, creating a seamless flow and connection between different areas of the house. The removal of outdated wood paneling was followed by the installation of new sheetrock and texturing, which provided a fresh canvas for our design vision.
In the kitchen, we took the transformation to the next level. We constructed new kitchen base cabinets, carefully crafting each piece to match the overall design aesthetic. A new bar with a custom backsplash and granite added a touch of luxury, while the original laminate counters were replaced with custom 3cm “Uba Tuba” granite, elevating both aesthetics and functionality.
Additional custom cabinets were fabricated to meet the specific needs of the homeowner, ensuring that every inch of the kitchen was maximized for storage and convenience. To complete the look, all surfaces were resprayed with a white oil-based semigloss, giving the space a fresh, modern finish.
To add a touch of elegance and personality to the kitchen, a new tumbled marble backsplash with bronze accents was installed, and new undercabinet lights illuminated the workspace. The addition of new 4″ LED recessed ceiling lights brightened up the entire kitchen, creating a welcoming atmosphere for cooking, dining, and socializing.
New Paint and New Appliances
Throughout the project, we left no detail untouched. Walls were repainted to match the new aesthetic, and new stainless steel appliances were seamlessly integrated into the kitchen, offering both style and functionality.
The transformation extended beyond the kitchen. The entryway saw the removal of outdated tile, replaced with new hardwood flooring. In the dining and formal living areas, walls were widened to create a more spacious and open atmosphere, perfect for gatherings and entertaining.
Finally, we replaced the original front doors with custom iron double doors adorned with a Texas star, adding a touch of Texas charm and sophistication to the entryway.
