One of our most remarkable projects encapsulates our commitment to creating spaces that transcend ordinary living. Our customer wanted an open-plan living area that would breathe new life into their home. Our journey began with the task of removing not one but two substantial supporting walls. A 22 ft. supporting wall between the den and formal living areas, and another 20 ft. wall between the den, dining, and kitchen were taken down. This daring move paved the way for an expansive, multifunctional space. The result is an open canvas where our clients can configure various living and dining arrangements and a grand kitchen with a central island, perfect for gatherings.
To ensure the structural integrity of the home, we meticulously cut ceiling joists and installed a concealed 24 ft. LVL support beam in the attic. LVL high tensile support beams were strategically placed across the kitchen island where the old wall once stood. The outcome was a seamless, column-free expanse that left our client in awe. Aesthetic enhancements, such as retexturing, painting, and wood-look porcelain tile, brought a touch of elegance to the space.
Next, we embarked on a full-scale transformation, demolishing the original, cramped kitchen, and revamping two primary supporting walls. We laid down resilient gray porcelain tile flooring throughout, ensuring longevity and style. The new kitchen boasts a spacious island with seating.
But our commitment to excellence didn’t end there. The outdated sunroom received a facelift with new exterior French doors, sheetrock, and textured walls. Polished marble flooring was the crowning touch, elevating the room’s elegance.
